Report shows return-to-work outcomes for Texas workers’ compensation

The Workers’ Compensation Research & Evaluation Group released a report on return-to-work outcomes for the Texas workers’ compensation system between 2007 and 2020. The report shows that 69% of employees who returned to work after six months stayed at work and that it took an average of 43 days for employees to return to work after an injury.

New app provides disaster response safety information

The National Clearinghouse for Worker Safety and Health Training partnered with The Center for Construction Research and Training to develop a mobile application for disaster response. The Disaster Tools app provides health and safety training tools for employees involved in disaster response and cleanup activities.
