Spotlight:Safety Issues in Houston

Thank you, Houston, for the amazing turnout at our Work Safe, Texas Summit. Panelists and audience members were able to share safety best practices across industries, raise awareness about workplace safety and help employers enhance their safety programs. It’s all part of Texas Mutual’s commitment to creating a safe workplace for all Texans.

  • Bob Charlet, Market President and Publisher of the Houston Business Journal, moderated the panel discussion featuring Jay Bice, Corporate HSE Manager at H+M Industrial EPC; James Hicks, VP of HSE at Fishbone Safety Solutions; and Shelby Moseley, Corporate Safety Manager at Deep South Crane & Rigging.
  • Eric Bourquin, Texas Mutual’s VP of Safety Services, talked about the latest OSHA regulations and how to survive an OSHA audit.
  • Jeremiah Bentley, VP of Marketing & Customer Engagement at Texas Mutual, introduced Safety in a Box, a virtual reality app that allows users to experience manufacturing and construction’s deadliest accidents in a safe environment.
  • Woody Hill, VP of Customer Experience at Texas Mutual, talked about Technology and Innovation in the Workplace.
